Fun Times in Plano

*Elsa*
Last week we decided to adopt a kitten. She is about 7months old. When we went to meet her at Petsmart, she stole our hearts. Her story is pretty sad. So... she was one of 14 cats living in a one bedroom apartment with no natural lights or toys. Her owner finally realized that she needed some help. Kitty Save came to the rescue. When we first brought her home, she was shy and probably didn't know what to do with all the space (after living in a cage).  She has warmed up to us now and loving her new home. She loves to cuddle and play with her little mouse toy. Here are some pictures of her. I never knew how hard it was to take pictures of animals!!

Easter with Jordan
Jordan (Andy's cousin) got to come spend Easter weekend with us. SO fun!!

Monster vs Aliens in 3D

The Move

As most of you know, we recently moved from Temple to Plano. It was definitely difficult leaving our great small group friends but we are enjoying our new home. Still have some decorating to do but it is starting to feel like it's ours. We also have a guest bedroom and would love to have company!! :) I started my new job at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. I think that I am going to enjoy it, but am not excited about being the "new girl" and "low man on the totem pole." Anyways, I am sucking it up. After only working one shift, I have noticed that it is a much different clientele from Scott and White. The people here actually shower!! It's amazing! I have heard that they are quite demanding clients but I have not experienced that yet. Enough about me, Andy is LOVING his new school. He now flies at Longhorn Helicopters in Denton. This was absolutely an upgrade from his school in Temple. He has started working on his instrument training, which is very challenging. So... keep him in your prayers. Another thing you can pray for is a church home for us. We have started visiting churches in the area, but seem a little overwhelmed. There are soooo many great churches around here. Just pray that we will find a church/small group in a timely manner.

Well... that's our update.

Thailand and Laos

We had such a wonderful time visiting Jason, Beth and Hatley in Thailand and Laos. I know that I have not posted pictures on our blog, but... there are pictures on facebook.  Please check them out. It just takes a lot longer to download to blogger than to facebook.
