We just got back from a weekend in Vegas! Andy and I went with Lauren and Justin for a little get a way. Justin is the only one who had been before so basically we were all vegas virgins. We found a great deal on plane tickets from XNA so we decided to all fly together. When we first got in the car to drive to AR, we drove under the most beautiful double rainbow!! Of course we got really excited because we thought we were going to have "good luck." I then realized that I had forgot my camera, shocking I know. I was so incredibly sad but decided not to turn around because we could just use La and Justin's. Our flight was only delayed 30ish min and got there and checked in to the wonderful Aria!! Aria is the newest hotel/casino in Vegas. It is contemporary and classy (not cheesy and themed like rest of vegas) and it smells AMAZING. They obviously pipe in the most pleasant smell. I guess it is to help with the cigarette smoke and it definitely works. I missed the smell of Aria when I came home :). Anyways, the first night we got there in plenty of time to experience Vegas. We actually met up with our cousin and she took us out to a really cool lounge/club. We actually had a lot of fun, despite the fact that she tricked us into going to Latin night. Can't you just picture us out there on the dance floor. I'm sure her friends got a good laugh at us because we sure were laughing at ourselves. Too bad we didn't go on Fri night instead because Lo, from the Hills, was hosting a party. Lauren said she just knew if she got to meet Lo that they would be best friends. oh well... I guess it just wasn't meant to be. The next day we decided to walk the strip to check out all the casinos. It was fun at first but got old very fast with the 108 degree heat, but hey... we can say we have been in most of the casinos. The highlight of the whole trip was Friday night when we went to see "O". That was the most amazing show!! For those of you who don't know, O is Cirque de Soleil's water show. There was so much going on, we never knew were to look, very entertaining. Andy said it wore him out :) At times Lauren and I got nervous because of the crazy stunts. It was strange at times too, very French. I highly recommend going to see it, you won't be disappointed . Oh and did I mention that we got rock star seats (center stage 6th row!! we even got sprinkled with water a couple of times). My second favorite thing was the Bellagio water show. Way cool and free so even better. Next day us girls went shopping and the guys gambled and watched the Razorback game. That night we had a really fancy meal and gambled a little (like we did every night, actually, I didn't gamble but i watched Andy and Justin, La played some slots, mostly Wheel of Fortune). I guess you could just say that I am not whatsoever a risk taker so that's why I was lame and didn't gamble :) maybe next time. Overall we had a wonderful time. Andy made a little bit of money. Oh... pictures you may ask... well... we got to the hotel and wanted to take some pictures of our fabulous rooms and incredible city view from the 18th floor and Lauren and Justin's camera was as dead as a door nail and they didn't have the charger. Seriously!! Not a single picture from that whole weekend!! I am so bummed (we looked really cute too). I guess that was my luck for you (see, another reason not to gamble).
